Our standard event rates start from £120. We ask for a 50% deposit at the time of booking with the balance payable in full no less that 7 days before the event.  

If any additional hours are required at the time of the event - and these are agreed with Vintage DJ then this is payable in advance in cash or by credit or debit card card (we carry a mobile card machine to all events).

Like most mobile businesses, we try to keep to a specific local area to avoid excessive travel and additional costs.  Generally, we operate within a 20 miles radius of Barnard Castle, County Durham.  We may travel further than this by arrangement, however there is an excess mileage charge of £1 per mile to and from the event over and above 20 miles.  For a more exact calculation, our postal code is DL11 7BW.

We specialise in playing to small-medium sized venues such as pubs, village halls, small function rooms, etc.

As mentioned above, our equipment is state of the art and fits in a small footprint area, however the sound quality and volume is astonishing.  Our era lighting is pretty good too.!

Yes, of course.  We have current, DJ specific Public and Professional Liabillity Insurance up to a cover of £1,000,000.  A copy of our certificate is available to view on request.

In addition all our equipment is fully PAT tested.

Insurance to cover third party damage to or theft of our equipment during the event is the responsibilty of the client.

The simple answer is NO.  We only play music from the last century, specifically the 1960s, 70s, 80s and 90s.  If you are looking for a mobile disco for a younger audience there are plenty out there to chose from.  But if you want great classic oldies music played by an ‘original' mature and professional DJ from the period then Vintage DJ is the best choice.
